Together with Argentinian dancer Maria Colusi, the duo INTER_SECTION (Sabine Ercklentz & Claudia Schmitz) explore the significance of silencio - silence for communication and change in this project. In times of overheated communication structures, the three artists focus on the potential of silence as a receptive gesture and as a catalyst for collective transformation processes.

The transmedia duo INTER_SECTION develops, in collaboration with changing international guest artists, space-related audiovisual real-time performances on the basis of improvisation involving gestural and intermedial transcribtion.
