Research und Performance

In linguistics, interference refers to the transfer of native language structures to another language. In physics, the term stands for phenomena that occur when several waves are superimposed (coherence / destructive interference). In radio, interference is defined as forms of interruptions, disturbances and distortions, and transformation of the original signal.

According to our different artistic practices, we each understand interference differently. We understand it as a method of consciously allowing our different artistic practices and languages to collide, overlap and merge.

The artistic investigation addresses questions of community and support as well as separatism, isolation, interruption and mutual dissolution on the basis of transmedial interference.
